Les Remparts is surrounded by vineyards providing wonderful wine tasting opportunities and twenty minutes from the UNESCO World Heritage Site of St Emilion. It is close to the Dordogne river, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, for water based activities. Further afield, Les Remparts is less than one hour from the vibrant city of Bordeaux, with many fine restaurants, La Grand Theatre, and Promenade Sainte Catherine, the longest shopping street in Europe.
